ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you an experienced salesperson with a strong track record of success or someone looking to step into the Medical/Surgical sales space? Are you passionate about building relationships, identifying opportunities, and developing new markets? If this sounds like you then we would love to hear from you! We are offering a newly created position and the opportunity to join Big Green Surgical, a well-established, highly regarded distribution business with an exceptional history of delivering solutions to customers across Australia and New Zealand for over 20 years.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Part-time will also be considered for this role.

Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, this role will specialise in building revenue and increasing market share for new and existing medical device suppliers and product lines across Western Australia. You will be part of a fantastic Perth and national team who are dedicated to superior customer solutions and support.

You will enjoy a variety of activities and responsibilities, including building your network of customer relationships, attending local industry meetings to increase market knowledge, and providing sales and technical support on quality healthcare products and solutions. Regular meetings with the Medical/Surgical team will further support your success and provide you with the opportunity to contribute to customer solutions and business growth. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Grow revenue and increase market share for new and existing suppliers and product lines. 
  • Achieve assigned revenue, product, and supplier targets. 
  • Build a network of customer relationships with Key Customers and Key Opinions Leaders. 
  • Demonstrate products and provide suitable levels of customer training. 
  • Identify and maintain a strong opportunity pipeline. 
  • Attend local industry meetings to increase market knowledge. 
  • Travel interstate to attend commercial/company meetings and training programs. 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3 years or more of selling in a hospital environment, preferably in medical devices, or-
  • Minimum 3 years relevant clinical experience.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Sciences, Nursing, or similar.
  • Flexibility to work under diverse situations and with various customer groups. 
  • Ability to travel to regional locations and interstate as required.
  • Desire to engage, work, and collaborate with team members.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
