Who you'll be working with:
Its working with one of the most sought after fin-tech companies globally. As the brand looks to become more globally inclusive, they are also looking to centralise all of their security standards internationally. You'd be a pivotal part in the global security initiative, driving decision making & standards for APAC region.

The role is based in their Sydney CBD office which offers hybrid working environments of 3 days in office.


What you'll be doing:
You'd be working closely with the 2 global CISO's to establish security policies, procedures, and guidelines on a variety of information security controls.

You will need to be a motivated self-starter as you will be working in an individual contributor role to engage with business stakeholders to understand the current risk & security landscape.

To be successful in this role, you will most likely need to have worked in a scale up/growth company where you have been pivotal in scaling the security practice and have examples of how you have done this.

This will include tasks such as:

• Execute a robust Cyber Security communications plan.
• Serve as the APAC point of contact for information security.
• Analyse source system data, existing data models, and profiling data to uncover additional security insights.
• Prepare dashboards and technical reports.
• Identify regional information security issues.
• Coordinate the execution of security governance and assessment control initiatives & Cybersecurity Awareness Programs.

Your Skills
You should be confident delivering on the following:

• Overseeing the end-to-end project life-cycle, ensuring milestones are met within scope, budget and timeline.
• Coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure effective project execution.
• Software, product, and infrastructure implementation
• Ensure scope and Change Management are in place for the project duration.
• Accurate resource forecasting
• Strong Communication and presentation skills
• Risk and issue management.
• Project status & governance reporting
• Accurate revenue and cost management forecasting.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
