For more than 20 years, Endeavour College in Mawson Lakes has thrived as a leading Christian co-educational secondary school, educating young people from years 7-12 under the umbrella of the Lutheran Church.  With 750 students and over 100 staff, the College is a member of Connected Schools offering a seamless K-12 education experience.

Reporting to the Principal, the responsibilities of this diverse business services role include:

• managing the financial aspects of the College in conjunction with the Principal, Board and Executive Team;
• providing financial advice to management relating to College operations;
• ensuring the College maintains compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements;
• ensuring College facilities including buildings, grounds, equipment, furniture and other assets are well maintained;
• overseeing the data integrity of the College’s information management systems and managing ICT suppliers;
• leading, mentoring, motivating, developing and managing a dedicated team across finance, facilities/property and ICT support.

Applications are encouraged without delay from suitably qualified and experienced finance professionals (CPA/CA highly desired), with strong commercial acumen and the broader experience necessary to provide leadership of the property/facilities and ICT functions.  Excellent stakeholder relationship building skills, proven people leadership and development abilities, innovative thinking, drive and energy will also be important as will a genuine affinity with and preparedness to contribute to the wider school community.  Experience in the human services sector may be an advantage but is not essential. 

Modern school Business Manager roles are broad and fulfilling positions and this will therefore suit an accomplished finance professional seeking to diversify their leadership experience in an enriching and growing educational environment.
