Developing and maintaining good understanding of the energy retail cost structure (including network, capacity and energy charges), all relevant agreements/terms (i.e. Pricing Models, Electricity Supply Agreement, Commercial Terms and Conditions of Supply) and knowledge of compliance obligations, market conditions, promotional programs, competitive products and marketing practices to ensure customers are provided with accurate and up to date information while demonstrating knowledge of designated accounts, commercial and contractual terms, conditions and key dates (e.g. contract anniversary), to facilitate effective account management, customer support and communication.

What you’ll bring:

Experience in mass market or highly regulated industry is highly regarded.

Strong influencing and negotiation skills, and the ability to vary tone and approach when dealing with different customers.

Excellent professional communication skills to effectively convey information over the phone and email about energy products and details of commercial terms, and immediate or advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Self-motivated, high organised, positive can-do attitude, with a strong sense of timeliness, commercial acumen and numeracy skills, as well as efficient, strong attention to detail to effectively manage the requirements of a high volume of designated customers (200-300).
