The Opportunity
My client is a well-established and growing accounting firm based in Wollongong. Due to continued growth, they are seeking to appoint a Business Services Manager to play a key leadership role within the team. In this position, you will take ownership of client relationships, mentor junior staff, and actively contribute to the firm's ongoing growth. With over six years of experience in public practice, you will be entrusted to lead engagements while benefiting from structured training and clearly defined career progression pathways. This opportunity is well suited to a motivated professional looking to step into a leadership position and work towards long-term equity partnership.

The role
Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for a Business Services Manager to take ownership of a diverse and high-quality client portfolio while playing a key role in the firm's next stage of expansion and leadership.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing and strengthening client relationships
• Leading and reviewing financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships
• Reviewing compliance work including tax returns, financial statements BAS and related reporting
• Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
• Contributing to growth strategies of the business and optimising processes
• Provide tax advisory and structuring advice

About You

• Minimum of 5+ years' experience in public practice
• CA or CPA Qualified
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Committed to providing exceptional service to our clients
• Experience mentoring and reviewing junior work
