Business Services Tax Assistant Manager

Excellent mid-tier practice Brisbane practice part of a national association. With offices across Australia, the firm has continued to develop internal partners and grow its diverse client base. They are a full-service firm with a focus on building strong client relationships. With their recent growth has come an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor / Assistant Manager to join their business services tax team.

THE ROLE 

Working in a team consisting of 2 partners and 10 staff you will enjoy a broad range of work across compliance, advisory and specialist tax work.

Some of your duties will include:

• Research on complex tax issues for private and corporate clients
• Preparation and presentation of tax matters
• Preparation of Income Tax Returns, & Financial Statements for all types of entities.
• Liaising with the ATO on taxation matters
• Liaising with clients and other stakeholders
• Managing and mentoring junior accountants

THE INDIVIDUAL 

A suitable candidate will possess the following:

• 4 years + experience in Business Services 
• CA qualification, or currently studying 
• Genuine interest and or qualifications in tax
• Exceptional interpersonal skills- both written & verbal
