The Role

We have a permanent full-time position for a Business Support Officer, based at our Carrington facility. This role is vital in providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our business activities.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

In this role, you will be serving as the go-to support person for the division, answering all questions and enquiries. You will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in weekly payroll approvals
  • Tracking costs on jobs and compiling costs for invoicing.
  • Invoicing completed jobs.
  • Preparing job cost information for customer.
  • Organising travel arrangements as required
  • Organising employee inductions.
  • Assist with the coordination of employee onboarding.
  • Undertake a range of admin duties including data entry, document editing, document management tasks; to support the Services' Managers & Supervisors and the internal business systems team organisational requirements
  • Assisting Purchasing Officer with Purchasing, Receipting & Recording
  • Assisting with preparation and collection of employee HR documentation
  • Assisting with preparation of project specific documentation

 

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Excellent multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, especially with customers.
  • Proven experience in working collaboratively with others and independently.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, particularly with folders and file systems.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport and partner with key internal stakeholders.
  • Sound computer skills including the Microsoft suite of programs.
