Who We Are

Avia Solutions Group, the world's largest Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance (ACMI) provider, is thrilled to announce the acquisition of Skytrans, a renowned regional airline in Queensland. As part of our expansion into the Australian market, we are set to introduce jet operations, starting with the Airbus A320 family of aircraft. This will be in addition to our well established Dash 8 and Caravan operation, that services remote and regional Queensland as well as the Torres Strait.

As a member of the Airbus Cabin Crew, you embody the highest standards of hospitality, safety, and efficiency. You possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing you to interact effectively with a diverse range of passengers. You will have the ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations.

What You Will Do

Reporting to the Cabin Crew Manager, this full-time position encompasses responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Announce and demonstrate safety and emergency procedures
• Direct and assist passengers in the event of an emergency
• Provide inflight service to passengers
• Assist in cleaning the cabin between flights
• Administer first aid to passengers or coordinate first aid efforts, as required
• Provide the highest possible service to our customers by ensuring that all needs are met, and exceeded where possible
• Liaise with the pilot-in-command in order to properly coordinate the effects of any operational requirements (e.g. weather, passenger requirements, early descents, diversions etc.)
• Ensure that food, beverages, emergency equipment, and other supplies are aboard and are in adequate supply

Minimum Requirements

• Australian Current Senior First Aid Certificate with a validity of 12 months
• Australian Responsible Service of Alcohol 'Statement of Attainment', (to be achieved before finalisation of the recruitment process)
• Able to successfully obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
• Must be 18 years of age
• Fluency in English
• Ability to swim unaided in clothing for 50 meters, and tread water for 3 minutes
• Have excellent Health and Fitness, normal function of ear, nose and throat
• Have adequate vision with or without glasses
• The ability to travel within Australia and overseas as required
• Successful completion of year 12 or equivalent study
• Previous experience on the Airbus or similar aircraft will be highly regarded
