Redpath Australia has been selected as the preferred mining contractor for the Northparkes E22 Block Cave Development Project in Parkes, NSW. We are seeking experienced Cablebolt Operators to join our underground mining team and support the safe development of one of Australia's most significant underground mining projects.

About the Role
As a Cablebolt Operator, you will be responsible for the installation of cablebolts and ground support systems, ensuring underground development activities are completed safely, efficiently and to engineering standards.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Operate cablebolt drilling and installation equipment
• Install cablebolts in accordance with ground support plans
• Conduct pre-start inspections and equipment checks
• Ensure compliance with ground support standards and procedures
• Maintain accurate records of completed work
• Identify and report hazards, incidents and equipment defects
• Work closely with Development Crews, Supervisors and Technical Services teams
• Promote a strong safety culture and high-quality operational outcomes

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous underground mining experience as a Cablebolt Operator
• Experience with cablebolt installation and ground support systems
• Strong understanding of underground mining safety practices
• Commitment to safety and operational excellence
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Relevant mining competencies, licences and tickets
• Current Australian work rights
• Ability to pass site medical and employment requirements
