Cafe Manager - Rewarding Work

RUH CAFE is looking for a Café Manager to organise daily operations, provide training, and lead our staff in providing the best customer service. If you are someone who loves creating great guest experiences, gets a thrill out of creating the perfect environment for our customers and can motivate the FoH team to do the same, then this is the role for you!

To be successful in this role you will require a positive attitude, motivation to build a team that will support each other, be results-driven, and are passionate about increasing profitability and improving customer engagement. This role will be hands-on and will entail overlooking Café & Food Prep, monitoring the staff service daily, budgeting, rostering, and strategic implementation of improving our RUH CAFE  and customer service experience. We are looking for an individual who is a strong leader and can help hire and train new starters. Previous Café management and experience in leadership roles are strongly desired.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, lead, motivate and train the FOH staff to deliver excellent customer service.
• Manage labour costs through effective rostering.
• Be the face of the business and be a leader in providing exceptional customer service.
• Address customer complaints in a professional manner and resolve immediately to maintain company reputation.
• Ability to help manage, train and motivate a team.
• Have strong leadership skills.
• A good work ethic & team player, reliable & punctual and can lead by example.
• Nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputation.

Our café runs Monday-Sunday, with the expectation to work 5 days (generally, Thursday-Monday), but we can be flexible for the right candidate. There are fantastic career growth prospects, and the business prides itself on fostering a family like atmosphere with full support for its team.

Salary: $70,000 plus Superannuation

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

The perfect candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in the industry.
