About You:

Our Jamaica Blue cafes are supported by an experienced team that will provide opportunities for you to grow your professional skills. We are looking for a passionate hospitality professional who wants to build a long term career within the Jamaica Blue team. 

If you have a background in food retail and/or hospitality, strong barista skills,  food prep skills, and want to take the next step in your career. Then this exciting 'hands on' role is for you.

The Position:

• You will be creating a fun and vibrant café atmosphere for hospital staff, patients, and visitors.
• Responsible for the delivery of an amazing customer experience and exceptional coffee and food.
• Supporting the business with creation and execution of marketing plans
• Maintaining operational standards with day to day operations of running a café including but not limited to:
  • Store opening and closing including cash reconciliation
  • Assisting with stock ordering and control
  • Assisting with invoicing and rostering 
  • Working hands on both front and back of house
  • Supervising a small team of customer service staff

Note: This is currently a casual position, however, opportunities for full time can be available for the right candidate.

Experience is preferred but training will be provided tailored to your individual needs. The successful candidate can expect to work in a fun, friendly team environment and be provided with ongoing training opportunities to grow your career and develop in the hospitality field.
