Cafe Supervisor (Maternity Leave) - Room for Advancement

BIG4 Gold Coast Holiday Park is looking to recruit a Cafe Supervisor to cover for Maternity Leave- potential extension for the right candidate. This is a customer service-based role that sees you responsible for performing and supervising duties pertaining to the preparation and sale of Food & Beverage from the Café and Function area. An essential responsibility of this role includes ensuring cleanliness, tidiness and personal hygiene standards. Attend to all guests needs within the F&B outlets and surrounding areas. This is a leadership role within the Park and as such, you are required to set the example to those working around you.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Problem Solving and providing effective solutions
• Assistance across other departments as required
• Greet all guests, offer assistance and deliver consistent guest services across all outlets
• Responsible Service of Alcohol 
• Assist in the rostering of staff in line with the F&B budget 
• Be actively involved in the stock ordering process in line with par levels / occupancy levels 
• Complying with OH&S as well as Identifying matters relating to OH&S 

Successful candidates require:

Be able to obtain a Blue Card (working with children)

Excellent communicator

Experience in a similar hands-on Cafe Supervisor role

A polite and friendly nature with a can-do attitude to deal with guest enquiries

Excellent time management and attention to detail

Effective problem resolutions

You will be required to be available for 5 days of the week, public holidays, and school holiday periods between 6am – 9pm.

You will be part of a large team of energetic individuals who challenge themselves to go the extra mile daily.
