Job Description - Call Centre Operator | NSW Government

Our client is a well-known government organisation dedicated to delivering great customer experiences and simplifying the way customers access Government services. They are seeking enthusiastic and driven Call Centre Operators to join their successful and dynamic team environment in this exciting contract role to start on the 19th July 2024 based in Parramatta!

The Job…..
Reporting through to a Team Leader, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Answer a high volume of inbound enquiries in a contact centre environment.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of information resources and operating practices and procedures.
  • Provide accurate and high-quality customer service, enquiry resolution, update records and complete transactions.
  • Accurately record customer complaints and escalate unresolved issues.
  • Meet privacy requirements and legislative obligations.
  • Complete ad-hoc administrative activities including processing documents and applications.
  • Utilise multiple digital data storage systems to locate, provide and update customer information and records.

To qualify for this opportunity, you must have experience in the following areas and possess the personal qualities below:

  • Ability to work across a rotating roster between the hours of 7am-7pm, Monday-Friday.
  • Minimum 6 months experience working in a contact centre environment.
  • Experience working within the Government Sector is desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work across several systems simultaneously.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
