Our City Campus Business Support & Facilities team are currently looking for a Campus Operations Coordinator to join the team. This role will be responsible for providing key organisational and administrative support , ensuring effective systems are in place and developed for midweek and weekend services; systems that facilitate the efficient day-to-day management of operations teams including volunteer teams, maximising efficiency and excellence.
Other aspects of this role include:
Operations
Responsible for the planning, execution & cohesion of all operational elements for Sunday services and mid week events. This will include assisting the Operations & Events Oversight in planning for special events such as Conferences.
Work with Maintenance Oversight and other relevant staff and volunteers to ensure venue is ready for Sunday services and mid week events.
Ensure buildings are transitioned back to their weekend setup after week day services and after any key events.
Volunteer Management
Build volunteer teams and develop leaders to maintain healthy growth
Support and develop all volunteers ensuring they remain healthy and are adequately trained.
Lead, train and look after the Host, Transport, Comma & Resource Teams.
Maintain an effective rostering system for all volunteer teams and consistent communication.
Plan for future events, service/team changes.
WHS & Compliance
Assist in overseeing WH&S procedures and regulations thus ensuring workplace safety is being maintained and the campus locations are complying with all relevant Government & other statutory authority requirements including first aid and fire safety.
Act as Deputy Fire Warden or Chief Fire Warden while working.
Ideally, the successful candidate will bring:
First Aid training is required.
An understanding of team culture and leader development
Ability to work under pressure and remain calm and multitask
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of team, members of the congregation, and the general public
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent self-management & ability to work within a team
Time and project management skills
