Car Park Attendant

The Role: 

As one of our casual carpark attendants you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our parking facilities, managing traffic flow, overseeing control room operations, preparing reports, and upholding cleanliness standards, all while providing outstanding customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Be well presented, confident & self-motivated with exceptional people skills ready to solve issues either on the phone or in person as they arise.
• Harness a positive energy, a can-do attitude and the ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment whilst having a flexible attitude and ability to move from one task to another as may be required.
• Ensure the carparks physical condition is maintained to a high standard including general cleaning and maintaining car park equipment to an operational level, ensuring emergency and safety signage is established if required. 
• Providing traffic management & navigational assistance during our busy periods in the carpark including early bird.
• Ensure the car park remains a secure environment for our staff and customers, monitor CCTV and maintain records.

Skills & Experience 

• Prior experience in a customer service role or similar
• Maintain an active and unrestricted manual driver’s license
• Proven oral communication skills
• Sound computer skills
• Ability to react quickly & make decisions under duress
• Previous cash handling experience
• Right to work in Australia 
• Ability to work day and evening shifts outside of normal business hours
