Cardiac Sonographer (Echocardiographer) for our specialist practice in Loganlea

We are seeking for a Qualified Cardiac Sonographer (Echocardiographer) to work at our specialist practice in Loganlea (Queensland). It is an excellent opportunity to work as a Cardiac Sonographer (Echocardiographer) in a friendly working environment with a supportive consultant cardiologist 

Responsibilities:

You must be able to work independently, in performing Echocardiograms and Stress Echocardiograms 

You must be able to do preliminary transthoracic echocardiogram reports 

All Stress Echocardiograms are performed with consultant cardiologist

Enter of the data entry into the computer system

Simple explanation about the procedure of transthoracic echo and exercise stress echo testing

Consenting patients prior to their transthoracic echo and exercise stress echo testing 

Maintain cleanliness of the equipment and keep the work area clean.

Equipment: 

Philips CX50 echocardiography machine

Required:

Registration with Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) is essential

Ability to work as a flexible and co-operative member
