Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze blueprints and building plans to prepare project layouts
• Measure and cut timber and other materials to required specifications
• Construct frameworks, scaffolding, and other structures using a variety of materials
• Install doors, windows, and fixtures with precision and skill
• Perform repairs and maintenance of existing structures and fixtures as necessary
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to complete projects efficiently

• Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably in both residential and commercial projects
• Strong understanding of wood properties and how to work with different materials
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in carpentry
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction
