The Client

Exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Carpenter to join a busy team, with varied manual duties in a Government Organisation that is part of the heart of the Cairns community.

The Opportunity:

• This is not a FIFO and need to be a Cairns resident or can commute to Cairns
• Work in a small team environment or as an individual
• Multi skilled - cross trade work will be required
• Sound computer skills
• Good knowledge of WH&S requirements

About You

• Qualified Carpenter
• Must have current drives licences
• Must have a White card
• Good problem-solving skills
• Adept at Task prioritising
• Engaging, proactive and a Team player
• Current Workplace Health & Safety General Safety Induction Card
• Please note: Travel is an integral activity for this role and will require overnight stays of up to 4 nights (or as negotiated). As the majority of this will be road travel, you will need to possess a current Driver's License. There will also be occasions where you will be required to travel by (light) aircraft.
