Salary: $90,000 per annum + superannuation

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of carpentry tasks, primarily focusing on working in, on, and around scaffold structures. This is a full-time position requiring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely assemble, dismantle, and work on scaffold structures as required for the completion of carpentry tasks.
Construct, install, and repair various wooden structures, including framework, stairways, and window frames.
Work in accordance with specifications, and building codes to ensure precise and high-quality results.
Utilise hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and sanders, in a safe and efficient manner.
Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to site safety at all times.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and project managers to report progress and address any issues that may arise.

Skills and Experience Required:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of excellence in carpentry work.
Proficiency in working with scaffold structures, including assembly, disassembly, and safe operation.
Strong understanding of construction principles, techniques, and materials.
Ability to interpret drawings, and specifications accurately.
Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety regulations.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
