Carpenter/Maintenance technician - Collaborative Environment

Building services, carpentry and facility maintenance works to a variety of government departments, universities, local shires and other private commercial and residential clients.

The Opportunity:

Seeking experienced Building Maintenance Technicians/Carpenters to join our well-established team of multi-skilled trades working on local commercial buildings and projects.  

Depending on your location and skillset we will build the position around your strengths with room to grow and learn new skills.

• Full time position on competitive hourly rate + super (negotiable based on candidates experience and skills)
• Company vehicle with fuel card and Ipad
• Accommodating to personal and family time
• $$$ Weekend overtime work available
• Paid training, accreditation and upskilling

What you'll bring to our team:

• Trade certificate in carpentry preferred.
• Construction White card
• Manual drivers licence
• Good communication with site reps and management
• Knowledge and commitment to safe work practices
• The ability to fault find, problem solve and plan out small tasks
• Take pride in your work, value cleanliness and looking professional
• Prepared to continue to grow as a trades person and learn new skills and techniques
• Basic data entry skills using our job management system using ipad/mobile 

Previous experience in the below would be an asset:

• General building maintenance/carpentry
• Plasterboard ceiling and wall repairs
• Paving and concrete repairs
• Gutter & Downpipe repairs
• Assessing and repairing roof leaks
• Minor painting
• Misc. carpentry - doors, trims, architraves, framing, skirting, 2nd fix, 1st fix, eave sheets, decking, installation of basic cabinetry, fit off works, basic formwork.
