The opportunity

We currently have a permanent full-time opportunity to join our Workers Compensation Claims team as a Case Manager, where you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality claims management by assessing coverage, investigating matters thoroughly, and resolving cases effectively. You'll bring a strong customer focus, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain high standards through change, paired with the resilience and professionalism needed to support our customers when challenges arise.

Your new role
  • Engage with stakeholders through case conferencing, claims reviews, and on-site visits.
  • Adhere to required timeframes, comply with all legislative codes and company policies, and ensure accurate claim information is recorded in our database.
  • Provide guidance, support and clear communication to injured people throughout their claim.
  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Manage your client portfolio end-to-end, applying strong customer service and sound decision-making to achieve return-to-work outcomes.
About you
  • A highly empathetic customer approach, with the ability to remain calm and professional when processing claims.
  • An engaging and courteous phone manner, including the ability to talk and type at the same time.
  • Strong rapport-building skills and the capability to provide timely solutions and recommendations to diverse customers.
  • Resilience, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Confident computer and numeracy skills, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Previous experience in customer service, administration, or operational roles; knowledge of general insurance, claims, or relevant legislation is highly advantageous but not essential.
