Program Overview

Anglicare North Queensland is seeking a case manager for its Community Recovery - Jasper program. Through its Mobile Support the Community Recovery Team works with disaster impacted community members across a large geographical catchment area in its community engagement work. The team works to support disaster impacted communities in their recovery efforts through a collaboration of community partnerships providing human and social support to assist the emotional, social and physical wellbeing elements relating to the on-going recovery from Tropical Cyclone Jasper impacts.

 

To Be Successful You Will Need

  • Proven case management experience using a holistic and client centered approach to managing your case load.
  • Extensive experience working in government funded programs with strict budgetary and contractual requirements of service. 
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government bodies, community organisations, and other service providers to provide efficient and effective services to clients. 
  • Knowledge of organisational programs, policies and operations. 
  • Industry relevant qualifications or relevant industry experience. 
  • Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, families and communities will be highly regarded
  • Experience working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds will be highly regarded

 

Compliance

  • A current QLD Drivers Licence 'Class C' or interstate equivalent. 
  • Blue Card (Working with children card)
  • A current national police check (within the last 3 months)
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate
