About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric individual to join our team as a Customer Experience and Airport Operations Officer (CEAOO). In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional operational services to both internal and external customers, including the public, airlines, and other Airport tenants.

Your primary focus will encompass the entire Airport precinct, including the carparks, terminal, front of house and airside areas. As a CEAOO, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, secure, professional, friendly, and efficient environment for our valued customers and tenants at Newcastle Airport Pty Limited (NAPL).

This position is for casual employment, with our team operating on a 24/7 roster basis. 

About You

As a Customer Experience and Airport Operations Officer (CEAOO), we are seeking someone who brings:

  • Previous experience: You have a strong background in customer service or airport operations.
  • Customer-centric mindset: You prioritise delivering exceptional experiences and adhere to compliance standards.
  • Team player: You thrive in collaborative environments and work well with others.
  • Strong communication: Your interpersonal skills enable effective interaction with diverse stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: You excel in dynamic, fast-paced settings and maintain high operational standards.
  • Problem-solving skills: You take initiative, think on your feet, and find effective solutions.
  • Attention to detail: You maintain precision in all operational aspects.
  • Time management: You prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Interpersonal skills: You confidently interact across all levels of the organisation.
  • You possess conflict management skills: you navigate challenging interactions promoting resolution and maintain a harmonious environment
  • First Aid certification: You hold a valid First Aid certificate.
  • Driver's license: You possess a valid driver's license, preferably with HR, MR, or LR endorsement.
