The suburb of Ashgrove is famous for its beautiful, traditional ‘timber and tin’ colonial and post-war homes.  The centre’s location has allowed us the opportunity to pay homage to this character architecture and develop an extension to the existing Queenslander to create Green Leaves Early Learning Ashgrove Cottage.

Our small, boutique centre caters for just 54 children and is located on a quiet and peaceful street in Ashgrove.

At dropoff, families are offered freshly baked goods and a barista coffee to take away or enjoy in the parent lounge.

Downstairs you’ll find our Nursery Room, while upstairs we have our Toddler and Kindergarten room which each feature their own outdoor play space.

We currently have a music program for all of our three learning hubs. Music is educationally enriching for all ages, as it provides multiple opportunities for children to develop neural pathways on both sides of their brains. Through music, children explore literacy, numeracy, mathematics and self-express. This is just one of the many incursions we have at the centre.

You will:

• Be a team player and a natural collaborator who is open to different views, receptive to feedback and reflects upon best practice


• Holds or is working towards an ACECQA-approved qualification


• Hold a Current working with children check & child protection certificate


• Be able to attend last-minute shifts (have appropriate travel options)


• Hold current First Aid and CPR
