Casual Farm Hands

We’re on the lookout for energetic and hardworking backpackers to join our team as Farm Hands at our macadamia orchard near Gogango, Queensland. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn money, gain hands-on farming experience, and tick off your 88 days in a friendly and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Orchard Manager, you will be involved in:

• Helping to grow and care for our macadamia trees
• Learning how to safely operate farm machinery (no previous experience needed)
• Assisting with pruning and general farm maintenance
• Working as part of a supportive and safety-first team

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

• Clear and effective spoken English, with good comprehension
• A valid C-class driver’s license
• Willingness to get your hands dirty and learn on the go
• Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• Flexibility with work hours (early starts and occasional Saturday work)
• Previous farm experience is great but not essential

• Casual award rates of pay and overtime as detailed in the Horticulture Award
• FREE daily transport from Rockhampton, Gracemere, Stanwell and Westwood
• Full on-the-job training

• Eligible work to count towards your 2nd or 3rd year visa
