Casual Housekeeping Supervisor - Hiring Urgently

Our team is expanding, and we are looking for an experienced individual to join us as a Housekeeping Supervisor! 

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will do more than just oversee cleaning; you will inspire and motivate our team, provide valuable training and development opportunities and ensure efficient task assignment. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be the driving force behind our guest rooms. 

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the housekeeping team to maintain cleanliness and guest satisfaction
• Dive in and carry out cleaning tasks across various housekeeping areas as needed
• Provide training, uphold cleanliness standards, and conduct daily inspections for assigned rooms  
• Efficiently assign tasks and maintain inventory PAR to ensure smooth operations
• Attend to guest requests and issues promptly 
• Assist with managing roster budgets and communicate with other departments while providing performance updates to management

Please note that at times you may be required to dive in and carry out cleaning tasks across various housekeeping areas as needed. This role also requires weekend work. 

Skills and Experience

• A sharp eye for detail and previous experience as a housekeeping team leader or supervisor is a must. 
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills, along with a friendly and outgoing personality
• The ability to think on your feet to keep things running smoothly throughout the day
• A high standard of personal grooming and a polished appearance
• Willingness to not only lead the team but to also work alongside them to ensure their success

Available to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays is a must.
