A day in the life…

Responsibilities include maintaining product quality, achieving production targets and maintaining a high standard of GMP. Main duties of the position:

• Manufacturing high quality product through adherence to standards and preserving Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)


• Operating and meticulously cleaning, inspecting and caring for production equipment


• Achieving production plans and objectives on a daily basis including coordinating planned product changes


• Continuous improvement, root cause analysis and problem solving in manufacturing and packaging processes


• Achieving all of the above whilst adhering to safety, quality and environmental standards; and demonstrating exemplary behaviours in all areas


• Other duties as required by the Line Manager

• Demonstrated strong attention to detail and meticulousness when it comes to quality, cleanliness and processes


• Proven basic mathematical and mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills


• Proven time management skills and proactivity, especially when managing competing interests


• Demonstrated ability to work cohesively and unsupervised in a high performing team environment


• A continuous improvement mindset, and willingness to learn and share knowledge


• Strong verbal and written communication skills with various audiences 


• The initiative and courage to speak out when correction is required


• Demonstrated ability to carry out safe manual handling as required


• Computer literacy (i.e. Outlook, Word and Excel)


• Previous experience in a pharmaceutical or chocolate and/or food manufacturing environment is desirable
