Casual Scrub/Scout Registered Nurses

We are seeking experienced Scrub/Scout Registered Nurses to join our close-knit and supportive perioperative team. Our Perioperative Surgical Theatre is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and supported by a highly skilled multidisciplinary team. As a Registered Nurse (Scrub/Scout), you will be responsible for delivering a consistently high standard of patient care in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. We are seeking candidates with a minimum of three years’ experience, ideally with expertise in orthopaedics, urology, and/or neuro/spinal orthopaedics. Experience with MAKO or ROSA robotic systems will be highly regarded, and familiarity with the Da Vinci Surgical System is considered a strong advantage.

The Position:

• Deliver outstanding patient care, ensuring patients are treated with dignity and respect.

• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to provide optimal outcomes for patients.

• Be a patient advocate, ensuring that their rights are upheld and their voices are heard.

• Promote a welcoming, compassionate environment for patients and their families.

• Demonstrate excellence in clinical practice, ensuring the highest standards of care are met.

• Assist in managing patient flow and provide pre and post-operative care.

You will hold current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse, supported by experience in scrub/scout, admission and discharge.

• Casual Hourly Rate: $52.30 to $67.24 (inclusive of casual loading) plus 12% superannuation
