ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Casual teacher for our - IT, Games Technology & Cyber Security courses, you will provide professional teaching and vocational expertise, across all aspects of delivery, planning and performance to ensure excellent outcomes for learners, the organisations that employ them and the communities they serve.
This position focuses on excellence in planning and conducting teaching and assessment. The role also includes resource development and educational administration.
Your key responsibilities include- Plan education practices and delivery sessions that reflect the most effective way to engage learners Ensure that teaching materials and resources meet all regulatory standards, training packages and related requirements Establish and maintain a positive learning environment, including encouraging students to take responsibility for their own learning Adapt learning and assessment materials to cater for different students, learning environments, facilities, and resources Undertake a range of administrative, coordination, and learning services activities directly related to the areas taught Assist in relation to the establishment, maintenance, and review of teaching programs Maintain a respectful, and safe environment free from discrimination, bullying and harassment
ABOUT YOU You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools, in addition to a strong understanding of contemporary approaches to education, teaching and learning
You will have relevant tertiary qualification in-
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or qualifications A Relevant or Equivalent Industry VET Qualification(s) in any of the following: (relevant to your position application) - Certificate II in Information, Digital Media and Technology - Certificate III in Information, Digital Media and Technology - Certificate IV in Information Technology - Certificate IV in Cyber Security - Diploma of Software Development - Diploma of IT Networking - Advanced Diploma of Network Security - Advanced Diploma of Cyber Security Vocational currency as demonstrated through a range of work and related experience Registration with relevant industry bodies A record of Vocational Competency, mapped to Units of Competency engaged to deliver A record of Professional Currency, demonstrating current industry and teaching knowledge BELONGING AND INCLUSION Chisholm is resolutely diverse.
