Casual Veterinary Associate - Greencross Baldivis/Cockburn

$80–$100 per hour inclusive of casual loading | Travel support and accommodation allowance available

Greencross Vets Baldivis and Cockburn are looking for an experienced veterinarian to join us as soon as possible. You can work at Baldivis, Cockburn or a mix of both. We’re happy to discuss a working pattern that suits your availability and preferences.

Whether you’re already planning a trip to WA, looking for a temporary change of scenery or simply seeking flexible casual work with a strong veterinary network behind you, we’d love to hear from you.

What we can offer

• $80–$100 per hour, inclusive of casual loading
• A rate aligned with your experience, clinical capability and confidence working independently
• Travel support if you’re coming from outside the local area
• An accommodation allowance if you need somewhere to stay while working with us
• Immediate shifts, with flexibility to work at one clinic or across both
• Support from established clinic teams and the wider Greencross veterinary network
• The opportunity to explore a longer-term career with Greencross if you decide you’d like to stay

Travel support will be tailored to your circumstances, and an accommodation allowance will be available where local accommodation is needed. We’ll discuss and confirm arrangements with you upfront.

Work independently, with a supportive team around you

We’re looking for an experienced vet who can confidently manage general practice cases and make sound clinical decisions with a good level of independence.

You’ll be joining established clinics with supportive teams, capable nursing staff and strong practice management. Cockburn is a purpose-built clinic, while Baldivis has a capable nursing team. At either clinic, you’ll have access to support from the local team, Greencross’s wider network of veterinarians, a Regional Clinical Director and professional resources.

Outside work, you can make the most of Perth’s beaches, coastal walks and sunsets, or head south for a weekend in the Margaret River region. Whether you’re coming for a few weeks, planning an extended stay or considering something longer-term, we’d love to help make your time here worthwhile.

About you

You’ll be:

• An experienced veterinarian confident managing general practice cases
• Comfortable working with a good level of clinical independence
• A capable and thoughtful decision-maker
• A strong communicator with clients and the clinic team
• Registered, or eligible for registration, to practise in Western Australia
• Available to commence as soon as possible
