About the Role

Hot Water is one of the largest categories within Reece – as the Category Lead you’ll be driving an industry leading product portfolio that gives us a distinct competitive advantage.  You’ll be managing stakeholder relationships across our supply chain, including both domestic and international suppliers. 

• Ensuring that the category portfolios are customer led and provide a distinct competitive advantage; undertaking regular range views for optimisation and new product opportunities
• Manage supplier relationships and performance, negotiating commercial terms
• Drive product innovation and development; managing products from concept to launch, collaborating with key stakeholders to bring things to life
• Developing industry relationships that ensure exposure to ongoing innovation and disruption
• Providing reporting and insights on category portfolios (using Excel and Power BI); analysing results to provide updates on trends and other impacts
• Develop procurement plans that enable the efficient supply of products
• Having the customer at the heart of everything you do, helping us build customers for life at Reece

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Demonstrated experience in a similar category and/or product management role – including supplier management, new product development and project management  
• Ideally you will also have had some experience working in B2B environment (trade/distribution customers)
• Experience mentoring and/or leading a team will be highly regarded as you will be leading a small team in this role
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a passion for mentoring and sharing your knowledge and expertise, and an ability to present and engage audiences
• A positive, can-do attitude and an inquisitive nature, with a thirst to understand the Reece business and products
• Strong relationship building skills, you’ll be working with a number of stakeholders within the business and external vendors and suppliers
• Good Excel and Power BI skills
