What's the role?

We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team in Wodonga. In this hands on role, you'll support day to day kitchen and catering operations, helping deliver high quality food service while maintaining exceptional hygiene, food safety, and customer service standards.

This is a Full Time role, you can expect to be working Mon to Fri from 1.00pm to 9.00pm 38hrs per week.  

Key responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, meal assembly, and service
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards across all kitchen and service areas
• Wash, sanitise, and organise kitchen equipment and utensils
• Receive, store, and rotate stock while supporting inventory management
• Support catering events and work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service

About you

• Previous experience in hospitality, catering, food service, or a commercial kitchen
• Passion for delivering excellent customer service and working as part of a team
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety practices
• Reliable, organised, and able to thrive in a fast paced environment
• Flexible with shifts and willing to learn and grow within the catering industry
