Busy Bees at Kilburn is seeking an experienced Assistant Service Manager (2IC) to support the Service Manager in leading daily operations, mentoring educators, and maintaining high-quality outcomes across the service. This role is ideal for a proven leader ready to take the next step in centre leadership.

Your Impact

• Support the Centre Director with daily operations, staffing, and compliance

• Lead, mentor, and support educators, modelling best practice

• Oversee programming, documentation, and reflective practice

• Step into the Centre Director role when required, ensuring leadership continuity

• Build strong partnerships with families, educators, and the wider team

What You’ll Bring

• Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved)

• Demonstrated experience in leadership roles (Lead Educator, Educational Leader, 2IC or similar)

• Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and regulatory requirements

• Working with Children Check (Employee – SA)

• Confident communication skills and a collaborative leadership style
