The Service – KU Ourimbah 

Work in a unique early childhood setting at KU Ourimbah. Located within the picturesque University of Newcastle Central Coast campus, our purpose-built service is surrounded by natural bushland and landscaped grounds, creating an inspiring environment for children and educators alike.

Caring for up to 59 children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, KU Ourimbah is known for its high-quality play-based learning program, Forest Preschool, and regular campus excursions. Our light-filled spaces and commitment to sustainability create an environment where curiosity, creativity, and learning flourish

The Role

We are looking for a Certificate III qualified educator to work full time, Monday-Friday 8 hours per day on a rotational roster. You will accrue a monthly rostered day off. 

This role will suit someone who enjoys both indoor and outdoor curriculum and values the importance of building strong relationships with both children and their families and is a great team player.

Candidates Require: 

• Australian working rights
• A current and valid NSW Working with Children Check
• An ACECQA recognised Certificate III qualification
• A National Child Safety Training Certificate
• A completed training in Child Protection (CHCPRT025) and an understanding of the legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
• To be available to work part time as outlined above
• Working knowledge of  the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
• Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
