Your new role This is an opportunity to join a high-profile federal ICT environment, supporting enterprise-level Change & Release functions within a structured service management framework.As a Change & Release Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of production changes across complex ICT environments, operating as a gatekeeper for change approvals and release readiness. You will collaborate across technical and business teams to manage the full release life cycle - from planning and governance through to post-implementation review and continuous improvement.
This role goes beyond coordination, with a strong emphasis on process improvement, governance alignment, and operational excellence, ensuring change activities are delivered consistently, safely, and in line with organisational standards and priorities.
What you'll need to succeed • Experience in ICT Change & Release, ITSM, or service delivery environments• Strong understanding of change governance, release processes, and production readiness
• Proven ability to coordinate end-to-end change life cycles, including approvals, testing, and deployment
• Experience maintaining forward schedules, documentation, SOPs, and knowledge bases
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across technical teams, leadership, and business users
• Ability to manage complex, high-risk, or urgent changes with sound judgement
• Excellent communication and reporting skills, including exposure to governance forums
