Position Details

About the Role

As a Change Management Specialist, you will lead the design and delivery of comprehensive change strategies that enable successful adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working across student and education projects.

You will partner with senior leaders, project managers, and stakeholders to assess readiness, identify impacts, and develop tailored engagement plans. Your work will include creating communication strategies, facilitating workshops, and providing coaching to build change capability across the University.

This role is critical to ensuring that transformation initiatives deliver measurable benefits and align with Flinders’ strategic objectives.

About You

You are an experienced change practitioner with a strong understanding of change management frameworks and methodologies. You excel at building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels, and you have a proven ability to manage resistance and foster commitment to change.

Your communication skills allow you to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable messages. Experience in higher education or large-scale transformation programs will be highly regarded, along with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
 

About the Office of Academic Quality and Enhancement, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Students) Portfolio

The Office of Academic Quality and Enhancement, led by the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic Quality and Enhancement), is responsible for key functions that support the University’s academic standards and student experience. These include Curriculum Services, Student Policy and Integrity Services, Academic Quality, Compliance and Risk and Strategic Projects.

Within the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Students) Portfolio, the Strategic Projects team plays a vital role in supporting strategic and operational priorities across student-related and academic services.
