Job Description - Change Manager (System Improvement) - Urgent Role

We are searching for a reliable Change Manager (System Improvement) to join our all-star team at Screen Queensland in Teneriffe, Brisbane QLD.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Change Manager (Systems Improvement) will be key in designing and delivering an organisation-wide systems improvement project. You are an independent, results-oriented and passionate Systems Change Lead, with exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing you to provide advice, consult and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders. In this stand-alone, hands-on role you will use your project and program management experience in combination with your strong digital technology background to work to deliver an enterprise wise fit for purpose systems solution.

Project Accountabilities will include:

  • Leading the engagement and management of a small organisation through the application of a strong change management and business readiness approach, to scope source and deliver consolidated systems improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with internal clients to co-design change solutions to support business needs or requirements, including high level change management advice and coaching.
  • Complete the initial assessment to scope out the level of change required including business process and user journey mapping, ensuring the program of work is aligned to the strategic deliverables of Screen Queensland.
  • Ability to design and develop innovative resources and solutions, which consider contemporary change management practices and approaches, and user experience in the design process.
  • Define and measure success metrics, monitor change progress and develop strategies for any areas of resistance.
  • Developing, designing, and delivering engaging, inclusive, and accessible training and awareness activities to implement and embed the systems solutions.
  • Support and engage senior leaders by providing coaching and advice when required.

What you'll bring:

This is a hands-on role in a small organisation, exemplary stakeholder and relationship management, change management and collaboration skills are a must. Extensive experience leading transformational systems change in both private and public sector organisations is preferable.

Proven experience in bringing clients on the journey, management and resolving issues in a collaborative and transparent way, building confidence and trust to maximise systems uptake is required.

You will demonstrate high level research, conceptual, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills and an ability to coordinate multiple tasks within agreed priorities, timeframes and accountabilities in a complex environment.

  • Five years’ experience in a similar information technology/ systems improvement project in public or private sector.
  • Degree qualifications in change, project management and/ or business improvement are preferred but not essential.
