NRMA Darlington Beach Holiday Resort is a sprawling 110 acres of beachside rainforest and will be your new home-away-from-home.  It is located just 30-minutes north of the subtropical city of Coffs Harbour on the Mid North Coast of NSW.

The Resort offers a large range of camp/caravan sites and accommodation options, from Villa’s, to Glamping Tents.  Nestled right on the beach, we offer a multitude of facilities for the young and young at heart; a water park, resort style pools, lawn bowls, archery, nine holes of golf and our very own licenced on-site bistro!

What you’ll do  

Join us on a journey, as we expand our Food and Beverage and Events space.  Open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the cafe is fully licensed, offers an a la carte & takeaway menu and wine list that is sure to please all palates and cater for all budgets.

We pride ourselves on excellent guest services and ensuring our guests have the best memorable holiday experience!  Under the direction of the Head Chef, you will be responsible for kitchen coordination including portion and stock control and for the oversight of other kitchen staff as required.  Shifts will predominantly be to fulfil evening service. 

What you’ll bring 

• A qualification in commercial cookery, or applicable trade testing
• Previous experience in a similar position at a restaurant, club kitchen, or café
• Experience in supporting other cooks and kitchen employees
• A working understanding of 'Food Safety' principles and workplace health and safety
• Experience in ordering and stock control
• Passionate, energetic and flexible
• Willing to be part of a greater team and jump in to assist with whatever the day brings!
