Job Description
About you:
- You are passionate about hospitality and food.
- Confident preparing and storing pizza dough and pizza sauces.
- Have experience handling the pizza oven.
- A guest obsessed team player.
- Exceptional leadership skills with demonstrated results in developing and motivating teams, your lead by example approach will be infectious.
- Availability to work varied shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and public holidays.
What you will be doing:
- Inspiring the team, leading by example to ensure our customers have a genuinely unforgettable dining experience.
- Controlling general and specialised duties including supervision and training of other kitchen employees.
- Ordering and stock control.
- Solely responsible for other chefs and kitchen employees.
- Assisting the Executive Chef and where necessary operates a section of kitchen and ensure that food standards, preparation, presentation and cooking techniques are carried out according to established recipes / standards.

The Novotel & ibis styles Melbourne Airport is a new dual-branded, 464-room hotel opening on 1 July 2024.
The Novotel Melbourne Airport with 248 rooms, and ibis Styles Melbourne Airport with 216 rooms, will be located just steps away from Terminal 4, Melbourne Airport.
