Shell House Dining Room & Terrace is on the lookout for a Chef De Partie to join the kitchen team under Head Chef, Brad Guest.
Brad leads a talented team who are commited to his vision of a relaxed but high-end fine dining experience, with menus inspired by the freshest Australian produce and premium products.

As a Chef de Partie (CDP), you will collaborate with our Head and Sous Chef in consistently delivering high-quality food. You will uphold the highest standards of food preparation, staying updated on new products, recipes, and techniques. 

ABOUT YOU:
You are a dedicated chef who is keen to expand your experience in fine dining, and play an active role in the overall guest experience. You will relish the opportunity to work with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, contibuting to dishes and consistantly delivering exceptional dishes.

You will have previous experience handling purchase orders, ensuring only authorized items are received. As well as; managing and training any Commis Chefs, setting rosters, delegating jobs and monitoring all kitchen and food safety standards.

MUST HAVES:
  • Australian working rights.
  • Experience working in commercial kitchens is essential.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in fine-dining restaurants.
  • Formal cooking qualification (minimum certificate 3 in commercial cookery).
  • A great attitude with a true passion for cooking.
