We are looking for an enthusiastic chef to take over supervising and running our small little kitchen. You will be replacing our current chef who has been with us for 4 years. The main requirement is to maintain our current food offering to the standard we are known for. If you want to be creative there is room to develop your own specials and potentially menu for the next seasonal change but this is not a requirement for the position.
We have a small modern and clean kitchen with 2-3 staff on shift. We are looking for a well organised and experienced chef/ cook to maintain the service and quality of our current restaurant menu as well as small functions and events for up to 100 people.
We are offering a flexible 4 day roster of 32-38 hrs per week. You can schedule your own admin day during the week and run the kitchen service Thursday - Saturday nights.
The admin day involves checking stock levels and doing weekly ordering as well as general kitchen maintenance duties, and occasional dish or menu planning for functions.
You will be working directly with the management team and owner.
Cleaning, food preparation and cooking are all part of this job.
This job is suited to qualified chefs and experienced cooks.
Salary is flexible, based on experience and what you offer. We can package a salary or pay casual award rates ++
