Job Description - Chef Supervisor

The Position

:
  • Full time position
  • Hands on role for a very organised Chef, collaborating with a small team deliver a premium experience across daily mess meals and events.
  • Drive exceptional food safety and quality with a focus on allergen and dietary requirements.
  • Experience in function menu and service planning
  • Maintain all catering and stock controls, OH&S compliance, and HACCP with a strong focus on food safety, quality, and waste reduction.
  • Forecasting food requirements, ordering and stock control
  • Knowledge and experience of operational and financial performances of the catering business

    • The Person:

  • Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery
  • 3+ years displayed experience as a chef in similar venues.
  • Comfortable with working with others and small team.
  • High level knowledge in HACCP, allergen management and food safety.
  • Proven team leader with high level organisational skills who can work autonomously, with initiative and under pressure.
