Chef/Cook for Seafood Cafe - Hiring Fast

Busy seafood cafe located on the waterfront in Sandgate requires an experienced Chef / Short Order Cook for primarily morning seafood prep, grill work and some deep fryer work for up to 38 hours a week.

We pay above award wages, including higher penalty rates on weekends and public holidays, as well as a delicious complimentary meal on 8 hour shifts. We are close to public transport, free street parking and up to 38 hours per week is on offer. The availability to work early mornings and weekends is essential. 

We are looking for a team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic who can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment as part of an awesome team!  This is a permanent casual role with an immediate start.

• Experience preparing seafood
• Work well under pressure and the ability to multi task
• Understanding and knowledge of food safety standards
• Work to the clock for meeting customer order expectations in a timely manner
• Deliver food preparation within set timeframes
