Hours: Casual, 25 to 30 hours per week

Availability: Spread of shifts over a 7-day roster, including weekdays, weekends, nights, and public holidays

About Us:
Mantra Tonsley Adelaide is a premier 4.5-star property offering 88 accommodation rooms, a restaurant, and event rooms. Our "Tonsley Bar Bistro" provides an enticing bistro-style menu with options available for breakfast daily and lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Saturday. We are seeking an experienced Chef/Cook to join our Food & Beverage team and contribute to our high standards of guest services and culinary excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation.
   
• Produce dishes autonomously, handling busy service periods confidently.
   
• Maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.
   
• Organize work and manage time effectively, especially during fluctuations in guest numbers, special events, and functions.
   
• Execute cooking orders using a variety of techniques such as grilling, frying, mixing, and baking according to standardized recipes.
   
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of food and kitchen supplies, aiding with ordering and ensuring efficient use of resources to minimize waste.
   
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations, maintaining culinary standards.
