Job Description

As the Chief Concierge at Mondrian Gold Coast, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Concierge department, ensuring that guests receive exceptional, personalised service in line with our luxury brand standards. You will demonstrate an unwavering commitment to guest satisfaction, consistently prioritising their needs and ensuring an exceptional experience. You will lead and manage a team of talented professionals, driving service excellence and achieving departmental goals while fostering a culture of guest satisfaction. Reporting directly to the Front Office Manager, you will work closely with all hotel departments to elevate guest experiences, resolve conflicts, and ensure seamless operations. You will serve as a departmental role model and assist Front Office Manager in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counselling, disciplining, motivating and coaching in the concierge team.   

Qualifications

  • Manual drivers' licence is essential
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Proven concierge experience in a luxury hotel or resort
  • Demonstrated leadership experience required
  • Exceptional knowledge of the Gold Coast region, including local attractions, restaurants, events, and cultural landmarks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to connect with guests and anticipate their needs
  • Opera Cloud experience desirable
