The Albury & District Local Aboriginal Land Council (ADLALC) is on the lookout for an experienced and dynamic leader to step into the role of Chief Executive Officer. This is a unique and rewarding opportunity for a motivated individual to make a significant impact within our community.

About the Role:

As the CEO, you will be the driving force behind the day-to-day management of ADLALC’s operations. You will support the elected Board by providing sound advice and implementing their resolutions efficiently and effectively. Your leadership will be crucial in navigating the complexities of our organisation and ensuring we meet our goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily affairs of ADLALC in line with delegated authorities.
• Offer accurate and timely advice to the Board.
• Implement Board resolutions.
• Interpret and apply relevant legislation, particularly the ALRA.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
• Manage organisational and accounting practices.

What We’re Looking For:

• Knowledge of the Aboriginal Land Rights Act (ALRA).
• Strong organisational and management skills.
• Experience in accounting practices and principles.
• A deep understanding and appreciation of Aboriginal issues.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
