We are currently seeking a new CEO for PKKP Enterprises Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of PKKP Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC. PKKP administers traditional lands and waters on behalf of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama and Pinikura people, covering approximately 10,888 sq km’s of Western Australia's Pilbara region. This region stretches from Onslow to Tom Price and includes parts of Nanutarra, Glen Florrie, Wyloo, Kooline, Mt Stuart, Cheela Plains, and Rocklea, encompassing the renowned Hamersley Ranges and Juukan Gorge. PKKP delivers a range of programs and services to support the social and economic well-being of its members. PKKP Enterprises Ltd, a registered Public Benevolent Institution (PBI), was created to fund PKKPAC and support the economic and enterprise aims and aspirations of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama and Pinikura people.
All surpluses generated through PKKP Enterprises Ltd are distributed to PKKP Aboriginal Corporation to fund its operational requirements. The vision is for PKKP Enterprises Ltd to continue to grow and eventually fully fund the activities of PKKPAC, with funds remaining in trust for future generations. Additionally, we support PKKP member businesses and individuals in participating in commercial activities that strengthen our community and connection to country. PKKP Enterprises, as an entity of PKKP Aboriginal Corporation, generates future commercial, business, employment, and capacity-building opportunities for our Puutu Kunti Kurrama and Pinikura People. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PKKP Enterprises will be the strategic leader and driving force behind the commercial success and business activities under the PKKP Enterprises umbrella. This role requires an experienced and visionary leader with a strong background in business management, strategic planning, and community engagement. The CEO must be capable of steering the organization through its growth phase while maintaining a strong alignment with the cultural values and long-term objectives of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama and Pinikura (PKKP) people.
Reporting directly to the Board, the CEO will lead the commercial operations and drive economic growth for the PKKP community. The CEO will oversee all facets of PKKP Enterprises, including strategic planning, economic management, business development, operational oversight, and stakeholder engagement. The goal is to establish PKKP Enterprises as a thriving and respected entity within the broader business community while ensuring it serves the economic interests and cultural integrity of the PKKP people. The CEO will play a critical role in driving economic development and creating employment opportunities for the PKKP community, advising the Board on culturally appropriate strategic market and sector opportunities, and managing new initiatives as approved by the Board.
This position will be based in our Perth City Offices, with expectations of travel to our Head Office in Karratha or other locations as required by the needs of the role.
This role offers a generous Total Compensation Package, including a range of allowances, extra leave provisions, a fully maintained vehicle, training and professional certifications, and memberships. As a Public Benevolent Institution (PBI), we offer generous tax concessions and salary packaging to our staff.
This is a full-time, permanent Senior Executive position reporting directly to our Board of Directors.
