About the Role
Our well-established Townsville Private Clinic incorporates 73 Mental Health beds and offers integrated private healthcare services to Townsville and the wider North Queensland community. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Executive Officer to be responsible for ensuring that patients receive high-quality care, and the hospital operates within the regulatory standards and best practices. This role is responsible for attracting and engaging a high performing skilled workforce, positively engaging our valued medical specialists and driving the operational objectives and targets outlined in the hospital's strategic plan.
About You
Our ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen and extensive executive-level experience in hospital management, preferably in the mental health sector. You should hold a tertiary qualification in Health, Business, or Management and have a comprehensive understanding of private health sector regulations, including WHS, clinical, and quality legislation and frameworks. You may be currently working as a Director of Clinical Services with a strong commercial background looking for that next step in your career.
Demonstrable capabilities should include overseeing all clinical aspects of the hospital, ensuring the quality and effectiveness of patient care, supervising and developing clinical staff, developing and implementing policies and procedures, collaborating with other departments and external stakeholders, and managing the budget and resources for clinical services.
Your role will involve maintaining high-quality, efficient services, delivering patient care, managing critical stakeholders such as VMOs, and overseeing hospital performance. You will also be responsible for evaluating the success of the strategic business plan and budget outcomes and making critical decisions regarding major initiatives such as capital expenditure and core business changes.
