Job Description Reporting to the CHPP Superintendent, the CHPP Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for fostering a safe, cost effective, target driven environment. This will be achieved by setting and achieving goals, developed leadership skills, and building a good rapport with internal and external stakeholders. In this role you will be responsible for: Leading a team of experienced individuals whilst promoting company values. Providing excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. Compliance with all HSEC and legislative requirements are met. Effectively supervise and instruct teams to meet planned outcomes and hold accountable to expected standards of behaviour and performance. Investigate equipment related failures, and coordinate remedial actions to address the root cause. Maintaining a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the company values. Roster and Location Monday to Friday roster Based on site at HVO North Site (off Lemington Road) About You AS 2214 Certificate Structural Steel Welding Supervisor (desirable) Possess a can do attitude with a customer service focus Self-starter that takes pride in the end result Demonstrated problem solving abilities and drive to positively influence others to deliver required outcomes to a high standard Safety conscious, prepared to challenge the norm and drive continuous improvement whilst striving to achieve Zero Harm A working knowledge of the SAP PM module (advantageous) Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities to achieve deadlines Employee benefits include: minimum five weeks annual leave market competitive salary a safe and enjoyable workplace where everyone is respected valued and empowered structured training and development to support you progress your career education assistance a generous incentive program health and wellness reimbursement program paid parental leave salary sacrificing options private health insurance subsidies Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
