The Opportunity

As part of our clients overall growth strategy, there is the opportunity to join the companies growing Newcastle operations as a Senior Civil Designer to help contribute to strengthening their civil presence and capability across the New South Wales region.

This is a great opportunity for someone that enjoys working across various projects in the pipeline, delivering technical pieces of work within civil design and partnering with other civil professional to drive project successes.

What you will be responsible for:

• Developing detailed civil engineering designs and plans for usage across a wide range of projects.
• Utilize software and tools to create precise design drawings.
• Ensuring designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within both NSW and interstate to integrate civil design works into larger projects.
• Preparing and reviewing project documentation, reports and permits.
• Partnering with various internal and external stakeholders to contribute to project successes. 

What you will bring:

• Relevant qualifications in civil design or a related field.
• Proficiency in civil design software and tools, with AutoCAD 3D or 12D skills highly desirable/  
• 5+ years of experience in civil design, with a proven track record of managing various projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and willingness to build relationships with various stakeholders.
